Weapons of Mass Persuasion this privacy policy in order to explain the data we collect, what we do with it and how you can request a copy of your data and have it removed from our website. Who we are
Weapons of Mass Persuasion is located at https://weaponsofmassperusasion.com and is engaged in providing service related to political communication. We provide online classes and on-going educational services designed to help communicate more effectively when engaged in political dialog. We can be contacted using the contact form on our website.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
For those who are not customers we do not collect any data as a standard practice, except for situations enumerated below. For customers who are also subscribers and members in order to create a login credentials you will be asked to enter your first name, last name, email address, username and password. This is collected via a 3rd party software program called Wishlist and is stored on our website so that we can validate your credentials when you return and login to access any content we are contractually obligated to provide you.
At no time will we collect, or ask for any information related to your religious or political affiliation, or your sexual preferences
Free Reports and Marketing Information:
We may occasionally make available a free report, or similar promotion. When you request a report such as this you’ll be asked to enter your first name and email address. This information is not stored on our website. It is securely stored by a 3rd party email management system owned and operated by Aweber with a website at http://aweber.com and a privacy policy at https://www.aweber.com/privacy.htm.
Payments and Transactions:
We will use two transactional processors. PayPal, located at https://paypal.com. You can view their privacy policies at https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full Your credit card information is not revealed to us by either of these two sites and only you have visibility to the specific details.
Website Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
We do not provide any means for users to upload media in the form of pictures, or video. Hence we will not collect, or store any of your information associated with media
Contact forms
We have a very simple contact form that asks for first name, email address and a message. Optionally you can leave a phone number but this is not required. This information along with your IP address is store on our website at http://weaponsofmasspersuasion.com .

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

In no way is any of this data identifiable to you and is completely anonymous. This data is retained by Google for up to 38 months. After 38 months it is removed. However since it is not identifiable with you, we have no way of removing this data.

We may occasionally advertise through Google, Facebook, or Yelp. This will often set a cookie on your computer so that we may remarket to you. This data is not collected or stored on our website and there is no personal information stored.
Who we share your data with
The data we collect and retain on our website is not ever shared with anyone for any reason. Data related to 3rd party services such as payment processors, or email management services is stored securely and any data we have access to is never shared by us.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We do obtain our Clients’ consent to post their name along with their testimonial via email prior to posting the testimonial on our website. How we protect your data
We protect our website against malware and spam by using a 3rd party real time protection service called WordFence, which has been configured to do weekly scans to detect any new vulnerabilities that we respond to as soon as we become aware of them.
We also keep our website current and up to date. This includes WordPress core software s well as any 3rd party software known as Plug In.
In addition we only use high quality plug-ins that are in compliance with best known practices for data protection and or in compliance with GDPR.
Lastly we also adhere to and enforce for all administrator level users the use of strongly encrypted passwords as recommended by WordPress.
What data breach procedures we have in place?
If a breach of our website occurs, we will immediately change all administrator level login credentials and then notify all subscribers and members who have a username and password on our site of the breach. We will then work to ascertain the means and method of the breach and work to remedy the situation.
Once we have ascertained the means and method and scope of the breach we will broadcast a message to all subscribers as well as post a notice on our website regarding the results of the investigation the cause and the ramifications of the breach.

We do not receive any 3rd party data.
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
Our email management system, Aweber provides us the opportunity to segment subscribers. Any segmentation we do will be pertaining to preferences of services, or other service related information. Segmentation based on sexual, or political preference is never done.
